About Khanyisile Antonate Desree
I am Khanyisile Mdluli, a fresh out of university candidate. I studied Psychology in my undergraduate,and futhered in PGCE post-graduate level. My interest in child psychology is the reason behind this. Psychology has a proverb that compares child development to building blocks. If the building blocks are precarious at any point while the child is developing, it will inevitably lead to a perilous adult development. In order to address such, I hope to facilitate a seamless transition into adulthood. Why not do that in a classroom ?

Most of my lessons consist of discussions with each other, being me and the student or in groups. This is because, in my opinion, direct engagement with the content promotes learning more effectively than a teacher-centered approach. As I get to know my students, I adjust the lessons to suit their unique needs. Being more specific will be difficult because what works for one person may not work for another, but after much discussion, a definite consensus is achieved.
