About Sena
I am a fun, caring, and incredibly patient person. I love to learn and love to help others who wish to do so. As a medical student, I love science and psychology. I find the mind to be such a interesting wonder that we can never understand too much about.
Hobbies/interests consist of music, learning new languages, trivia, science museums, astronomy, cooking, meeting new people, video games, TV & film, pop culture, and sleeping. Any hobby or interest you may have, odds are I have it too! :)
I am very open-minded and champion all people. I'm an advocate for everyone and do not discriminate. I have zero tolerance for the exclusion and disrespect of others. I have a special place in my heart for those who simply want to try. I will be not only a tutor, but someone my students can always rely on when needed most.

- I am a dynamic student-focused tutor; I deisgn the lessons based off my specific student's learning style and limits.
- Lessons typically start with a few minutes of check in to make sure everyone is mentally in a good mindset to start, then I go into what we are working on for the day, and we complete practice questions on what I taught that day.
- My biggest rule is #1 : Tell me when you have no clue! I know students feel they need to know the right answer, but if that was always the case, you wouldn't be getting (concealed information) So I always reenforce that my sessions are safe places with zero judgement for when you simply don't know what to do. I encourage my students to welcome the feeling of confusion, so we can tackle the barriers to understanding and lessen the pressures of perfection (you can't learn new things if you told yourself you *should* know everything).
- All levels of understanding and education from my students is accepted; I work with kindergarteners all the way up to doctorate and PhD holders because they all have the same thing in common: they need help. Learning is a forever journey that knows no age or life stage.
