About Ruth
I am a student at the University of Oxford entering my final year studying Psychology and Linguistics. I am passionate about ensuring that all students can enjoy and excel in school, especially in my favourite subjects! I achieved a 9 in GCSE Biology and an A* in A-Level Biology. I have since achieved first-class marks in Behavioural Neuroscience in my degree. As well as being well-educated in this subject, I love supporting young people in their learning, while challenging them to do the best they can!

I have been freelance tutoring for almost four years, both 1:1 and in groups. I love to personalise my lessons to each student's needs, interests, and goals. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes and I often incorporate evidence-based methods such as active recall to support learning.
