About Marisa
I am a senior at Villanova University, studying psychology and criminology. I also studied psychology in high school and am very passionate about the concept. I also am experienced with tutoring middle schoolers and elementary students in math. I love getting to know the students and making each lesson easy to understand, and helping to use worldly examples and activities, which also has helped me in the past learn tougher concepts easier. As a fellow student, I understand how difficult it can be to not grasp a concept, and want to provide the best help possible!

I help students walk through the college application and research process, giving well understandable and thorough examples and advice. I have personally applied to many different universities and masters programs and also have helped with many personal statements and essays.
I also have experience with tutoring elementary through middle school students in math concepts. I make sure to use activities and examples that the student can understand in order for them to be able to apply it to their studies/homework. I am currently studying psychology and criminology, and am going on to get my masters in these subjects, and know a large amount of psychology lessons and criminal/forensic science and would be able to tutor high schoolers in these subjects as well.
