About Alan
I am a Teacher, Trainer who has worked within Schools, Colleges and Industry at a variety of levels including Undergraduate, Professional CPD in the fields of Applied Psychology, Behavioural Therapy, Motvation and Inter-Personal Communication Skills. I have delivered the Award in Education and Training as well as supporting research projects. I have a PhD in Psychology, professional qualifications in Coaching, Counselling, Hypnotherapy and Behavioural Therapy as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I have worked with De Bono Thinking Skills appraoches and am an accredited de Bono Skills Thinking Coach.
With an professional interest in Transpersonal Psychology, I have an interest in mythology and spirituality. These have supported the development of accredited courses in Spiritual Coaching and Personal Alchemy which have been professionally accredited at Level 5 equivalent.

Learner centred approach with a focus on developing the required skills to ask the questions which motivate learning. Without the ability to frame good questions, learning tends to be rather superficial. However, questions supported by the skills to access, assess and communicate information lead to what can be considered as 'deep learning'.
