About Philippa
I am currently working for the Civil Service in London. I graduated from Cambridge University with a first in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences and am passionate about Psychology, with a particular interest in social and developmental psychology. I have studied Psychology since A Level and have experience in research methods, statistical analysis and essay writing. I have worked with young people and taken on mentoring roles within my career.

I take a flexible approach to teaching to cater to different styles of learning. I am a patient and approachable tutor who is passionate about Psychology and encourages open discussions. I provide support with essay writing, expose students to a range of research studies and teach students how to critically evaluate these. I focus on building students’ confidence in approaching a range of exam questions and teach students the skills to be able to create comprehensive essay plans to tackle these.
