About Elmar
I am a passionate chess player who has been teaching beginner level chess for 4 years now. I was previously a player for my provincial team and since then play often on Chess.com and over the board at clubs. I typically teach beginners, as I truly enjoy seeing that understanding of the game form for new players.

I teach the fundamentals of chess and guide beginners in how to win and improve their game. Aimed at beginners from 200 - 1200 Elo. I follow the teachings of clubs part of the Western Cape Chess Association. Learn not only how to play, but how to strategise, blunder less and checkmate.
