About Joe
Greetings, I'm a certified teacher in the areas of special education and math in the great state of Texas. I have 20 years of experience as a special education math teacher, resource and inclusion, and using individual education plans. 12 of those years I have been a department chair overseeing 50+ special education teachers and hundreds of general education teachers in two different independent school districts in the North Texas area. I love math, and the importance of real-life application. I break down material into its simplest form so students can comprehend the material. I understand the importance of Individual Education Plans (IEP's). During my career as a teacher I have written hundreds of IEP's for students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, and attention deficit disorder.
