About Hamza

I am absolutely in love with Maths and Computer Science! I love how you can turn a complicated and somewhat abstract problem, write pages of solutions and come to one final answer - how satisfying. And Computers...how they work, what exactly happens when you press the power on button, and how data can be transferred in such a perfect system - what could be more interesting that these?

As a tutor, I feel very passionately about enabling students to do their very best, especially in such important subjects like Maths and Computer Science, which will be heavily relied upon in the future - so why not build on these skills now so you can excel in your career later?

With just over 2 years of tutoring and mentoring experience combined, I love the idea of passing on knowledge to newer generations of students, and the best part of it for me is seeing how my students can achieve so well by the end of it. I have worked with students from a range of different levels, from primary school all the way to GCSE level - and I have seen some incredible results.

About the lesson

With a specialist focus towards homeschooled and small-group tutoring, I have just over 2 years of experience teaching subjects from Maths in Primary to Physics at GCSE.

I specialise in GCSE Mathematics teaching, having worked with students aiming for and successfully reaching Grades 7-9 in their final exams. The feeling of passing on knowledge and information to others is such a joyful experience, and what better subject to use than Maths?

My lessons are all carried out online using a collaborative whiteboard space. I have also set up an online learning environment where my students have 24/7 on-demand access to all learning materials and extra resources so they're never left alone!

My "scheme-of-work" is arranged in a week-by-week outline, and a typical week looks something like:
- Starting the week with some new content shared with students to read beforehand and get familiar with the content
- During the middle of the week, we have an online lesson to review the new material and explore further into the content
- Ending the week with some practise - after all, Maths is not a watcher's subject!
