Feb 2018 - Present BOXING
I train at one of Amir Khan's (former light welterweight world champion) personal trainers gym and have gained a lot from the experience. Boxing is a sport which teaches discipline and perseverance, it gives me the opportunity to learn from others as well as helping others learn from me, and I believe these skills will help me a lot in any job.
Jul 2017 - Aug 2017 NCS (NATIONAL CITIZEN’S SERVICE) SCHEME
Two summers ago, I took part in the government's NCS Scheme. This was a scheme open to all 15-17 year olds in the country and ran over 3 weeks at the end of which, we did a social action project designed to benefit the local community. NCS helped me gain teamwork, leadership and communication skills alongside helping me to grow in confidence.
