About Natalia
I am a prospective student at the University of Cambridge, due to study Human Social Political Sciences. I studied Maths at A-level which I thoroughly enjoyed and this helped me foster a passion for the subject. I am a native Spanish speaker, fluent in both English and Spanish, used to translating and flexibly switching between languages. Having volunteered in the Maths Outreach Project, teaching in primary schools of disadvantaged communities, I am passionate about widening educational opportunities. I want to do anything in my power to help others achieve their full potential and pursue their goals.

I aim to walk the student through the content of my lessons, in order to achieve a basic understanding, and I will rephrase my teaching if there's something they're struggling to understand. I will tailor my lessons to best suit the skills and qualities of the pupil. I've found that if the source of the confusion is found and if the learning is adaptive to individual ability , the student feels much more confident with the knowledge learnt and is able to excel.
A lesson is typically 1h 30 to 2h long. When teaching Spanish the lesson involves listening, speaking and reading practice. For Maths my teaching will be based on teaching theoretical concepts, problem solving and completing past paper questions which further solidifies the skills learnt.
