About Colette
With 11 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I have had the privilege of teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. I enjoy helping learners build confidence and develop strong musical foundations.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, support, and continuous improvement. I believe that every student can learn effectively when lessons are adapted to their individual needs and goals.
I teach guitar fundamentals, chord progressions, rhythm patterns, scales, fingerstyle techniques, and music theory. I ensure that students receive proper guidance and encouragement throughout their learning journey.
Throughout the years, I have helped many students perform confidently in school and college programmes, family gatherings, and social events. Their success brings me immense satisfaction as a teacher.
I am passionate about making music education enjoyable and helping students experience the joy of playing guitar.

I believe that music is a beautiful form of self-expression and lifelong learning. My teaching methodology focuses on helping students enjoy music while developing strong technical and creative skills.
I teach Guitar through a step-by-step approach that combines theory, practical exercises, and song-based learning. Students learn according to their level and gradually progress towards advanced concepts.
I encourage patience, confidence, and regular practice. Through constructive feedback and supportive guidance, I help students overcome difficulties and achieve continuous improvement.
Apart from Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm training, ear development, music appreciation, and basic composition concepts. These additional subjects help students become complete musicians with a broader understanding of music.
My ultimate goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and passionate musicians who continue enjoying music throughout their lives.
