About Serenity
My interest in programming started when I realised how powerful logical thinking can be in creating useful and meaningful solutions. I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, followed by a Master’s in Computer Science, where I developed a deep understanding of coding, software development, and problem-solving techniques. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students at different levels, helping them learn programming in a clear, structured, and supportive way.
I believe that every student can learn programming when concepts are explained in a simple and relatable manner. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanations, practical coding exercises, and real-world examples that make learning more meaningful. I encourage students to experiment, make mistakes, and learn from them, as this builds both confidence and independence. I also create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and explore their ideas.
Outside of teaching, I continue to work on coding projects and stay updated with new technologies and tools. This helps me bring current and practical knowledge into my lessons. Teaching programming is very rewarding because I see students grow from beginners into confident learners who can think logically and solve problems effectively in a digital world.

Programming becomes much easier to learn when students understand how logical steps come together to create complete and functional solutions. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations in coding concepts such as variables, loops, conditions, functions, and data structures. I explain each concept in a clear and simple way, ensuring that students understand how and why their code works rather than just memorising patterns. This approach helps reduce confusion and builds confidence gradually as students begin to see how their ideas can turn into working programmes.
Lessons are carefully structured to match each student’s level and learning pace. Beginners are introduced to basic concepts through simple examples and guided practice, helping them become comfortable with writing code. Intermediate learners work on building structured programmes, debugging errors, and improving their logical thinking. Advanced students focus on algorithms, optimisation, project development, and problem-solving techniques used in real-world applications. Each lesson includes hands-on coding practice, detailed feedback, and step-by-step guidance to ensure steady progress.
Programming lessons also help students develop important skills such as analytical thinking, patience, and creativity. As they learn to break down problems into smaller steps, they gain confidence in their ability to find solutions independently. My goal is to make programming feel approachable and enjoyable, helping students build strong technical skills while also developing the confidence to explore new ideas and challenges in the field of technology.
