About Maeve

My interest in programming began during my M.Sc in Computer Science, where I discovered the ability to create solutions through logical reasoning. Over eight years, I have taught students across skill levels, focusing on building confidence, analytical skills, and independent problem-solving abilities. I enjoy fostering curiosity, creativity, and technical competence in every student. I emphasize understanding the underlying principles of programming rather than rote memorization. Step-by-step guidance, hands-on exercises, and project-based learning help students build mastery and independence. Many learners initially feel unsure, and I guide them to develop competence, confidence, and enthusiasm for programming. Outside teaching, I explore emerging technologies, coding techniques, and real-world applications. I incorporate these insights into lessons, making learning relevant, practical, and engaging. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to learn, apply, and innovate with programming skills.
