About Serena
My interest in programming began with curiosity about how software solves real-world problems. I earned a B.Sc in Computer Science, developing strong foundations in algorithms and system thinking. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped students build confidence through clear explanation and structured guidance.
I believe effective programming education requires patience and adaptability. I focus on helping students understand why code works, not just how to write it. Lessons are adjusted to suit learning pace and goals.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring new technologies and coding projects. This keeps lessons current and practical. Teaching programming is rewarding because I see learners grow into confident problem-solvers. Supporting their technical independence drives my passion for education.

Programming becomes accessible when learners understand how logic turns into functional solutions. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in programming concepts such as variables, control flow, functions, data structures, and algorithms. I guide students through Python and general programming logic with clarity and patience. Each lesson encourages experimentation and learning through practice.
Beginners work on syntax, basic logic, and structured thinking. Intermediate learners explore modular programming, debugging techniques, and algorithmic reasoning. Advanced learners focus on optimization, project structure, and problem-solving strategies for assessments or interviews. Lessons include hands-on coding, guided correction, and reasoning support.
Programming lessons also build resilience and creativity. Students learn to break down problems, test ideas, and persist through challenges. Many gain confidence when their ideas come to life through code. My goal is to help learners feel capable of learning independently and using programming as a powerful tool for innovation.
