Hello! I am a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for teaching computer programming. For over two years, I have been guiding students through the complexities of languages like Python, C#, HTML, and JavaScript. My journey in programming has not only been about developing my own skills but also about sharing this knowledge with others in a way that is both understandable and enjoyable.

My teaching approach is deeply rooted in the belief that understanding the fundamental concepts and logic of programming is crucial. About the lesson

With over two years of experience in teaching programming (working as an instructor at an after school programming company with hundreds of students), I've developed an effective teaching style that caters to various learning needs and styles.

In my approach to tutoring computer programming, I focus on adopting a methodology that emphasizes hands-on learning and a deep understanding of core concepts. I believe that true proficiency in programming comes from a strong foundation in logic and the fundamental principles all languages, giving the student the ability to pick up any languages once the concepts are understood.

During my lessons, which typically last 1 hour, I engage students with practical coding exercises. This not only allows them to apply what they've learned in real-world scenarios but also helps solidify their understanding of theoretical concepts. I tailor these sessions to individual learning styles, ensuring that each student can grasp the material in a way that resonates with them.

A key component of my teaching is encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. By facing coding challenges, students learn to navigate and troubleshoot issues independently, a skill vital in the field of programming.

My lessons are mainly suitable for learners at the beginning stage and are just starting to explore the world of programming. The focus is always on building a robust understanding of logic and fundamental principles, which are the bedrock of successful programming. though I do also offer more specialised lessons with some more advanced topics covered

Through this approach, I aim not just to teach programming skills but to instil a lasting passion for the subject and empower students to continue exploring and growing in this dynamic field.
