About Clarence
Hi! I’m Clarence. A Nigerian medical student with a passion for teaching and helping students learn with confidence. I have experience teaching English to secondary school students prior to my medical training.
My goal is not just to teach you grammar and vocabulary, but to help you become more comfortable speaking, writing and communicating in English in real-life situations. I believe learning should feel comfortable, engaging and suited individually to each student. That’s why I take the time to understand your goals, identify areas where you need support, and adapt my lessons to your learning style.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply want to communicate more confidently, I’ll be patient with you and make sure you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s part of learning.

I believe private tutoring works best when lessons are tailored to the individual student rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand your goals, current level and areas where you need the most support.
Depending on your needs, our lessons may include guided conversations, vocabulary building, grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing practice or preparation for a specific examination or academic goal. I like to make lessons interactive, using everyday situations and examples that make English easier to understand and apply outside the classroom.
I am patient and approachable, and I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions because my aim is to create a supportive environment where you can gradually become more confident expressing yourself in English.
For students interested in academic or professional English, I can also help you develop the vocabulary and communication skills needed to express yourself clearly in formal settings.
