About Shibani
I have been in the field of teaching English - Communicative, Technical and Business, for around 13 years. I have also served as a sub-editor in The Times of India. Knowing the nuances of the language is different than being able to teach it. I believe a teacher is a teacher only if he/she can raise the student to his/her level. In my experience, every student is unique and the teaching style needs to be tailored to suit it.

As I mentioned, the technique is largely tailored to the need of the student. Use of regional language as a parallel to understanding its English counterpart helps. Also, the basics of etiquette and communication skills needed for social interactions are given importance. The class would be for 3 days/ 2 days a week, with enough material provided to the student to practice and grasp the subject. Visual aids and other teaching aids are used for easy comprehension of the subject.
