About Patrick
I served as a full-time faculty member in Old Dominion University's English Department for eight years and instructed courses in Literature, Critical Theory, and Advanced Composition. During my tenure at ODU I taught and mentored over 1500 undergraduates, including several hundred students enrolled in the Patricia and Douglas Perry Honors College. I consistently received high marks in student course evaluations, was commended in annual reappointment letters for delivering expert instruction and fostering academic achievement by my Department Chair and the Dean of the College of Arts and Letters, and was accorded ODU's Shining Star Award for teaching excellence by my students.
