About Chiara
I am a professional neuroscientist and biologist currently pursuing my PhD, with a completed MSc and BSc (Honors). Having achieved a 7 in IB Biology during my own IB journey, I understand the program's unique demands and opportunities. With over 5 years of tutoring experience, including working with specialized agencies, I have helped numerous IB students excel in Biology. Having completed the IB program myself, I understand the challenges and expectations it presents. My experience as both a student and a tutor of IB Biology has given me the insight to guide students toward success.
My teaching style is flexible and student-centered. While I tailor my methods to individual learning needs, my general approach is organized, structured, and empowering. I break down complex topics into manageable sections, use real-world examples to enhance understanding, and encourage active participation. I emphasize understanding core concepts and applying them effectively in assessments.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previously covered material and clarification of any lingering questions.
