I have had multiple years teaching different grade levels. As a result, this has allowed me to gather a large variety of paper and online materials. This allows me to tailor the materials to the individual student, enhance their experience, and create growth in the skill they are needing help with.

I use the traditional method of teaching, "I do, We do, You do". I typically start the student with a warmup specific to the skill the student is working on. I then teach a short lesson with examples that I and the student work on together. The last part of the lesson is where the student will do examples on their own while the teacher watches and gives constructive feedback. These lessons are geared for students in grades 2 through 5. I believe my teaching experience in multiple grade levels has allowed me to pool different techniques to be able to tailor the activities to the student.
