About Shyama
I’m a professional copywriter and scriptwriter, currently working on my own novel and film script, but my first love has always been literature and language. I love exploring what makes a story work, how a text can hold different meanings, and how powerful words can be. I want to share that curiosity with my students and help them discover their own relationship with language. Whether you are learning to write, read more deeply, or simply appreciate literature, I hope to pass on even a little of the joy it has given me. Even in the age of ChatGPT, I believe learning to think, read, and express yourself is a skill worth holding on to.

My classes are designed for high-school students, college students and adults who want to develop stronger reading and writing skills. I help students analyse texts from multiple perspectives, build arguments, craft compelling essays and communicate with greater clarity. Lessons are personalised to each learner’s goals and level. For adults, I also offer creative writing and copywriting guidance, including writing for different marketing formats, developing ideas, understanding audiences and finding an effective, distinctive writing voice.
