About Jacob
My name is Jacob Richardson. I am a writer and lover of the English language with professional experience in copywriting, technical writing, and features writing. These are only titles, however, and ultimately I feel the best way to describe what I do is found in the word "communication". At the end of the day, the ability to communicate effectively is at the heart of any successful relationship, business or otherwise, making it an indispensable skill applicable to any professional endeavor.
Currently, I am working on completing my first novel and starting a digital marketing company with a focus on ad development and SEO solutions.

First and foremost, I believe each individual student deserves an educational approach that is tailored to their specific needs. This means identifying their current strengths and weaknesses within the desired subject and devising plans for the student that targets these attributes.
Once overall competency is established, I will select level-appropriate reading materials, writing exercises, grammar reviews, and other learning tools primarily aimed at honing the students ability to extrapolate and interpret information from text and write in a clear and effective manner.
My promise as a tutor is to give each student my full, undivided attention and to foster a learning environment that is engaging, stimulating, and continually constructive. My overall goal is to not only mold students into more competent readers and writers but to push them towards an overall spirit of intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.
Willing to teach a range of ages from elementary school to early college.
