About Arik
I've been running a small performing arts company, in addition to tutoring, for the past three years. On top of that, I have a B.A. in philosophy with minors in both history and theater. Within that, I specialized in semiotics, the study of symbols, which ends up quite handy when helping with other people's writing.

I first work to meet a student where they are at. There is no one sized fits all approach that works, otherwise we would all be doing it already. My plan A is to find something a student is passionate about and then aid them in putting it on paper, but I have many other tools in my toolbox I often use.
