About Ruby
I have over 8 years of experience as a violin tutor and hold a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies, serving as a Violin Section Leader during my training. My approach combines orchestral strength with modern versatility. Technique supports artistry.
I use slow-down apps to break complex passages into manageable sections. DAWs and MIDI notation tools allow us to analyze rhythm and pitch with accuracy. Video feedback adds another layer of insight.
This method is ideal for students interested in recording violin parts for their own songs. We focus on clean sound, layered textures, and expressive detail. Recording reveals growth.
I am especially passionate about Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk styles. Improvisation skills are developed through guided practice and personalized backing tracks. Creativity is encouraged.

I teach violin through a balance of practical technique and applied music theory. Every technical exercise has a clear musical reason behind it. Purpose matters.
