About Brandon
I have two years of professional experience teaching in-person and at a learning centre. Students that have worked with me say that I am fun to learn with and have the skill to get to the heart of knowledge gaps.
I've completed 3rd year university math courses at Simon Fraser University while studying for my bachelor of science in computing science and business. I've received A- or above in Pre-calculus 11, Pre-calculus 12, Calculus I (Differential), Calculus II (Integral), Linear Algebra, Introduction to Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics I, Discrete Mathematics II.

My teaching methodology uses a co-operative empathetic test driven approach that gauges both emotional and conceptual boundaries to understanding material and performing in the classroom.
After you give me an idea of what you are struggling with, I'll provide a quick diagnostic test to get us started. Together the student and I will come up with topics to focus on, for which I will create lessons for. Once the student and I are both aligned on a goal and where we are starting from, it becomes much easier to journey towards understanding.
We start in-person for at least 3 sessions so that we can develop a good pace together. From then on, we can continue in-person or move virtually depending on preference.
