About Yasmeri
“I am Yasmeri Martinez Veranes, a professional musician and dedicated music educator based in New Jersey, just minutes from Manhattan. I graduated from the prestigious Instituto Superior de Artes in Cuba with a specialization in Trombone Performance. Throughout my career I have performed with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Oriente, Orquesta Sur Caribe, Aisar y el Expresso de Cuba, and Yoldance, touring internationally in Venezuela and Mexico and participating in professional studio recordings and DVD productions. I am a certified RCM teacher and I am passionate about sharing my love of music with students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. I teach in English and Spanish

I hold a degree in Music Performance from the Instituto Superior de Artes in Cuba and have performed with symphony orchestras and professional bands internationally. I teach trombone, piano, music theory, solfège, and early childhood music education to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced. My lessons are structured, personalized, and adapted to each student’s goals. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, making me an ideal teacher for families in the NJ and NYC area
