About Ben
I am a professional primary teacher with previous 'Outstanding' Ofsted teaching practice. My lessons have seen a surge in children's love for creative writing, poetry, narrative, grammar, punctuation and vocabulary. I have experience with working closely with children who have EAL and other specific needs. With a performing arts background, the classroom is just as magical as the theatre.

My teaching method is to be creative. I like to approach teaching like performance. Multi-sensory activities, emotive workshops, drama, and art are all interlinked within my English practice, as this allows for children to experience what they want to write. With writing, we must 'show' the reader, not just 'tell' the reader, and be incorporating these creative practices, children produce creative pieces.
