About Jamee

Hello! I’m Jamee, a speaker, coach, and former comedian with a knack for making tough topics feel easier to tackle. With over twenty years of experience, I’ve honed my skills in advanced writing, communication, and public speaking – all things that have given me confidence, helped me thrive professionally, and honestly, made life more rewarding.

I’ve also faced my share of personal challenges, especially with loss. But instead of letting those moments define me, I learned to use them to grow stronger. The impact of these experiences became the theme of my speaking business. Through my talks and client sessions, I focus on helping others turn their own experiences with adversity into tools for success. I am also in the process of writing a book on this topic. I love teaching and my number one priority is to make learning fun.

When I'm not on stage or working with clients, you can find me cooking gourmet food, exploring new places, or hiking with my husband and our golden retriever.

About the lesson

My approach:
- The first five minutes is an engaging conversation and warm up.
- Set reasonable learning goals for each session.
- Lesson plans vary based on need.
1. If there is a particular writing project my student is working on
I break it down into parts before we begin. It's less
intimidating.
2. If overall writing improvement is the goal. I let them choose
a topic they enjoy for more ease and interest.
3. It's is imperative to read what they have written out loud.
It sneaks in public speaking experience, helps clear up
clunky writing and builds confidence.
- My interest is younger people. The texting a emoji age has
deteriorated proper writing skills.
