About Connor
As a Spanish tutor, I believe every student has the ability to learn with the right guidance and support. Over the past 15 years, I have successfully taught around 150 High School and College students, helping them develop confidence and improve their academic performance. Teaching gives me the opportunity to make learning enjoyable while helping students reach meaningful goals.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalized learning. Every lesson is planned according to the student's current level and future objectives. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, listening, reading, and writing using simple explanations, practical exercises, and interactive discussions. Students are encouraged to participate actively because language learning improves through practice.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been helping students who once lacked confidence become active Spanish speakers. Many have improved their examination scores and communication skills while developing a greater appreciation for the language and culture.
I work hard to create a classroom where students feel respected, motivated, and supported throughout their learning journey. My aim is to help every learner build a strong foundation in Spanish while enjoying every lesson along the way.

My Spanish teaching approach combines structure, engagement, and adaptability to create lessons that are effective and enjoyable. Accountability ensures learners set realistic goals, track progress, and actively participate in learning. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities.
I use Flexibility, adjusting lesson content, exercises, and strategies to accommodate different learning styles, proficiency levels, and interests. Communication is central; I encourage conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to develop fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and fosters curiosity. I also integrate complementary subjects such as grammar, literature, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical application. My goal is to help students communicate effectively, gain fluency, and enjoy learning Spanish.
