About Rob
I'm born and raised in the UK. I started my software career with an industrial placement at a leading broadcast media technology company who sponsored me through University, where I received a Masters degree in Computer Science. A few years into my career I switched to the Finance sector and have worked inside Investment Banks, FinTech startups and Proprietary Trading houses. I like to specialize in C# and Python server side (back end) application programming, which means I also have complementary experience in database systems and web technology.
Part of my journey to become a software engineer involved a lot of mathematics study, and I would be very happy to help students looking for assistance with the subject.

I can teach programming and software engineering skills with particular expertise in C# and Python languages. If you want to learn the basics I can structure a path to help you continuously learn and improve. If you already have some skills under your belt I will be happy to guide you through more advanced topics like multithreading, asynchronous io, database systems, web technology.
My engineering background means I can also support you on your maths learning journey (Computer Science was born in University maths departments!)
