About Alba

I help adults sing with freedom, confidence, and ease. With over 5 years of teaching experience and a DMA in Vocal Performance, I bring both technical depth and warmth to every lesson. Many of my students sing purely for enjoyment. That’s perfect.

Whether you’re preparing for community choir rehearsals or just want to shine at karaoke, I meet you exactly where you are. We focus on breathwork and releasing tension so your voice can move naturally. Mindfulness in music plays a big role in my teaching. When you feel present, your sound changes.

I love guiding students through Jazz phrasing, Folk storytelling, Blues expression, and Contemporary Adult styles. Tone development is always personal and patient. Singing should feel good in your body. It should lift your spirit. Let’s make your return to music something you truly look forward to.

About the lesson

Developing vocal agility is at the heart of my teaching style. I believe every singer can improve flexibility with the right exercises. We begin by strengthening breath control and body alignment. A stable foundation allows freedom in fast passages.

I teach runs and riffs using rhythmic breakdown and note grouping. Melisma is practised with attention to tone and vowel shape. Each note must be heard clearly. Complex vocal passages are never rushed.

We work slowly, then gradually increase tempo. I give detailed preparation for intricate embellishments in works such as The Quartet Player and The Fiddler. Register transitions are smoothed through guided exercises. Consistency builds confidence. Your voice will move with accuracy and lightness. Singing challenging music will begin to feel natural and secure.
