About Francesco

Francesco is a professional vocalist, improviser, and experienced singing teacher, passionate about guiding students of all levels to unlock their full potential. With a career spanning over 15 years, he combines rigorous technical expertise with extensive live performance experience in jazz, pop, Italian music, and Bossanova. He has performed at notable festivals and venues worldwide, showcasing both his vocal skill and stage presence. Francesco is also the co-founder of the a cappella project B-Chord and the immersive vocal initiative MUZE VOICES, reflecting his innovative approach to performance and teaching. A graduate of the Conservatory of Ferrara with a degree in Modern Singing, Francesco went on to earn a Master’s in Jazz Singing from the Conservatory of Bologna, graduating cum laude with special mention for artistic excellence. He has also completed Level I and II training in the Estill Voice Craft method and participated in advanced voice pedagogy programmes. He was a featured guest at the 2013 edition of La Voce Artistica, an international congress on artistic voice use and research. Francesco has received numerous accolades, including the Bettinardi Prize for Best Jazz Singer (2013), Special Awards at the San Marino International Jazz Festival, and two prestigious scholarships to study at Nuoro Jazz, one of Italy’s leading jazz workshops. As an educator, Francesco is known for blending rigorous technical training with a deep sensitivity to musicality and expression. He is the creator of Narrative Improvisation, a method designed to unlock emotional authenticity and storytelling through vocal improvisation and interpretation. His teaching focuses on developing the whole artist — nurturing not only the voice but also the musicality, confidence, and individuality of each student.
