About Emine
Hi, I’m Emine, a professional singer, songwriter and vocal coach with over 20 years of experience performing, recording and teaching.
I studied Jazz Vocals at Trinity College of Music and hold a Master’s degree in Popular Music from Goldsmiths, University of London. I have also completed Estill Voice Training Level 2, an MMBE Diploma in Music Management, and a Foundation Degree in Counselling Psychology, all of which continue to shape my approach as both a performer and a teacher.
Throughout my career I’ve performed across the UK and internationally in venues ranging from intimate clubs to major festivals. I’ve appeared on television, featured on film soundtracks, and performed on BBC Radio.
As a songwriter and recording artist, I have written songs for two Parliamentary Jazz Award-nominated albums, one of which went on to win the award. I’ve fronted several original bands throughout my career, released original music, and understand both the creative and practical realities of life as a working musician.
Alongside my own projects, I’ve worked as a backing vocalist for artists including Valerie June, Lissie and Joan as Police Woman, experiences that have given me valuable insight into professional performance, recording sessions and touring.
I’ve also hosted live events and spent many years collaborating with musicians, producers and songwriters from a wide range of musical backgrounds.
Teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I love helping singers discover their own voice, build confidence and develop the skills they need to express themselves authentically. Whether your goal is to sing for enjoyment or to pursue music professionally, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

My lessons are designed to help you develop both the technical skills and the artistic confidence to express yourself authentically. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, experience, musical tastes and the unique instrument of your voice.
Drawing on over 20 years of professional performance experience, I bring real-world insight into every lesson. Together, we’ll build a strong foundation by developing your understanding of
• Healthy vocal technique
• Breath control and support
• Belting and safe vocal power (on request)
• Extending vocal range
• Tone, resonance and vocal colour
• Pitch and ear training
• Performance skills and stage presence
• Song interpretation and emotional expression
• Lyric and song analysis
I’ll guide and encourage you to experiment with your voice so you develop a deeper connection to your instrument and a greater understanding of how it works. Over time, you’ll discover your own preferences, strengthen your artistic identity and express yourself with greater freedom, supported by a wide range of practical tools.
Curiosity, creativity and play are at the heart of every lesson. Alongside your sessions, you’ll receive warm-up exercises, backing tracks, visualisation techniques and ongoing support from an encouraging coach who’s happy to answer any questions between lessons.
I teach singers of all levels—from complete beginners who feel nervous about letting their voice out, to experienced performers looking for a second set of ears, fresh ideas or help refining aspects of their technique and performance. Whatever stage you’re at, my aim is to provide a calm, supportive and inspiring environment where you can continue to grow with confidence.
Please note that my fee is £45 for 50 mins. :)
