I’m a professional scientist specialising in genomics, molecular biology and microbiology, with training and education at the core of my professional role\. I work with scientists in industry, providing technical training and helping them understand and apply complex scientific concepts\.
I bring that same experience to my tutoring\. I’m used to explaining technical subjects clearly, adapting my approach to different levels of understanding, and helping people develop a genuine understanding rather than simply memorising information\.
My specialist background allows me to bring real-world scientific experience into lessons, particularly when covering genetics, DNA, gene expression, genome sequencing, microorganisms and biotechnology.
