About PedRam
Hi, I’m PedRam Shitrah, a professional guitarist, recording artist, composer, producer, and music educator with 15 years of experience in music.
My main focus is Rock and Metal guitar, and I especially enjoy working with students who are passionate about these styles. I have built my career through real-world experience in performing, composing, recording, producing, and leading my own progressive/heavy metal band, Artamene.
I believe learning music should be enjoyable, practical, and connected to the student's own interests. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or already play and want to take your Rock or Metal skills further, I create lessons around your level, goals, and musical interests.
I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping each student make real progress. I want my students to leave every lesson with something they can actually play, understand, and use in their own music.

My teaching approach is practical, personalized, and focused on helping students become confident musicians—not just learn isolated guitar exercises.
I teach electric guitar, acoustic guitar and music theory, with a particular focus on Rock and Metal. My lessons combine technique, rhythm, riffs, scales, chords, improvisation, ear training, music theory, and learning songs that match each student's interests and goals.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material, followed by technical exercises and the main topic of the session. We then apply the new skill to a song, riff, musical example, or creative exercise. I finish each lesson by giving the student clear practice goals for the week.
I adapt the difficulty, pace, and material to each student. Beginners receive a structured foundation, while intermediate and advanced players can work on technique, Metal and Rock vocabulary, improvisation, songwriting, arrangement, recording, and developing their own musical identity.
What sets me apart is that I teach from real professional experience. I am a recording artist, guitarist, composer, producer, and founder of the progressive/heavy metal band Artamene. I have experienced the complete process of developing music—from learning and performing to composing, recording, producing, releasing, and working with an international record label.
My goal is not simply to teach students how to play guitar. I want them to understand what they are playing, why it works, and how they can eventually use those skills to create their own music.
Lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate players, and musicians who specifically want to develop their Rock or Metal guitar skills.
