About Mercy
Hello, my wonderful students!
My name is Teacher Mercy, and I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I have 10 years of teaching experience and currently work as a Departmental Head in the Foundation Phase.
I am passionate about teaching because I believe that education has the power to change lives. I enjoy helping learners discover their abilities, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. What interests me most about teaching is seeing that special moment when a learner finally understands something they once found difficult.
My lessons are designed to be fun, engaging, supportive, and learner-centred. I believe every student is unique, and I take the time to understand their individual needs and learning style. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.
