About Leslie
Teaching piano has allowed me to work with students who have different goals and learning styles. During my 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped children and working professionals enjoy music through simple and effective lessons.
I believe students learn better when they understand the reason behind every technique. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in piano playing, rhythm, music theory, coordination, and expression through practical learning and regular guidance.
I create lessons based on each student's interests, ability, and pace. Whether you are starting from the basics or improving existing skills, I provide patient guidance, useful feedback, and encouragement to help you continue growing.

Every piano lesson is planned to make learning comfortable, practical, and enjoyable. Students learn through demonstrations, exercises, and musical pieces that match their level, helping them build confidence while developing strong playing habits step by step.
Lessons include finger techniques, scales, chords, arpeggios, rhythm, sight reading, music theory, hand coordination, accompaniment, improvisation, dynamics, and expressive playing. Students practice these areas through activities that improve technique, understanding, creativity, and confidence while playing different styles of music.
