About Ullas
I am a passionate Piano tutor with 10 years of experience teaching college students. I enjoy helping students develop strong piano skills while making every lesson enjoyable and meaningful. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident to improve.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I explain every lesson in simple English and make sure students understand each concept before moving forward. I believe that learning becomes easier when students actively participate, ask questions, and practice regularly.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital piano resources, rhythm exercises, ear training, visual demonstrations, and personalized practice plans. I also include popular songs and practical exercises to make lessons interesting and relevant.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, rhythm, posture, and musical expression. I provide continuous feedback and help students develop effective practice habits that lead to long-term improvement. My aim is to help every student become a confident and independent piano player.

My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable while helping students develop musical understanding, creativity, and confidence. Every lesson is personalized according to the student's learning style, experience, and future goals.
I use real-life examples and practical situations to explain rhythm, melody, harmony, and expression. Music theory is connected to familiar songs, helping students understand concepts in a natural and interesting way. Practical case studies also show how these ideas are used in real performances.
Understanding is always more important than memorization. I encourage students to understand the purpose of every exercise so they can play with confidence and become independent learners.
Communication is open, respectful, and encouraging. I explain every concept in simple English, demonstrate techniques patiently, and provide regular feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, professionalism, and commitment. Students are encouraged to practice regularly and celebrate every step of their progress.
Besides piano, I also teach keyboard, ear training, music theory, sight reading, rhythm development, accompaniment, improvisation, chord progressions, and beginner music composition.
