About Ruben
I have been a professional piano teacher since 2023! I have worked at Stay At Home Music as a teacher, typically teaching children privately in their homes from ages 4-18. I also taught with the Granite Club, giving group lessons to children aged 3-8. I have also taught privately in students' homes and online. I have experience teaching all ages and in many different ways too. My compositional background also allows me to edit songs to make sure you can learn any song you like, at whatever level you prefer!

I love teaching and working with children to find the learning methods that work best for them! My lessons look different for each student and I am very flexible with how, and what I teach. I am able to teach classical piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music as I have passed the level 10 exam. I am also able to teach theory for classical and non classical genres. If you are looking for beginner lessons, I also teach fun children’s songs and am able to compose my own versions of things like songs from movies or video games you like!
