About Ana
With more than 6 years of experience as a piano tutor, I specialise in teaching college students who want structured yet enjoyable lessons. My teaching approach is personalised and adaptable, focusing on each student’s strengths and learning style.
I combine traditional piano techniques with innovative ideas such as improvisation, creative practice routines, and modern music examples.
I place strong emphasis on technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. I believe learning piano should be both effective and enjoyable. My aim is to help students grow steadily, gain confidence, and develop a strong connection with music.

My piano teaching approach combines creativity, mentorship, and accountability. I focus on helping students develop technical skills, musical understanding, and self-confidence.
Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, exploring different music genres, and learning songs that students enjoy. Lessons are engaging and allow students to express themselves naturally.
As a mentor and critical thinker, I explain rhythm, finger technique, scales, chords, and musical expression in simple, easy-to-follow steps. Students learn to reflect on their playing and improve independently.
Accountability is built through goal setting, consistent practice routines, and regular feedback. This helps students stay disciplined, focused, and consistent in their learning.
Along with piano, I also teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard skills, and basic composition to support comprehensive musical development.
