About Udemadu

I am an award-winning pianist, composer, music educator and music producer with a passion for helping people discover and develop their musical abilities.
I hold Music Diplomas with Distinction from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON), as well as a Diploma in Music Education. My experience spans piano performance, composition, music production, audio engineering, orchestration and teaching.
I have worked on a wide range of musical projects, including concert music, recordings and film scoring. My work as a composer has received international recognition, including Best Original Film Score for Water Girl at FLIC CINEMAFEST in Montana, USA.
I believe music is much bigger than learning an instrument. It is a language, a creative discipline and a lifelong skill. My goal as an educator is to help students develop not only technical ability, but also musical understanding, creativity, confidence and their own artistic voice.

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised, practical and structured around your goals.
Whether you're starting from scratch, preparing for a music examination, improving your piano technique, learning to compose, or wanting to produce your own music, we'll begin from your current level and build from there.

Depending on your chosen subject, lessons can include piano technique and repertoire, sight-reading, improvisation, music theory, ear training, harmony, composition, orchestration, music production, recording, mixing and sound design.

I combine strong musical foundations with practical application, so you don't simply memorise information—you learn how to use it.
You'll receive clear explanations, practical exercises and guidance for continued practice between lessons.
My goal is to help you become an independent musician who can not only perform music, but understand it, create it and express your own ideas through it.
