About Sam
I’m a Sydney-based composer and performer, working across film, TV, and video games, alongside performing regularly as a guitarist and vocalist. I’ve been playing music from a young age, starting on piano before moving into guitar, songwriting, and live performance.
Alongside my performing work, I’ve released original music as an artist, with songs featured on Triple J and a music video broadcast on MTV.
I’ve always enjoyed teaching and helping people develop their playing in a way that feels natural and engaging. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve, I aim to make lessons clear, practical, and enjoyable.

My guitar lessons are practical, relaxed and tailored to each student. As a working performer, I focus on helping you develop real playing skills, whether that’s learning songs, improving technique, developing your ear, or gaining confidence on the instrument.
I teach all levels, from complete beginners through to more advanced players. Lessons can cover chords, rhythm, lead playing, improvisation, and general musicianship, depending on your goals.
I perform regularly as a guitarist and vocalist, so everything I teach comes from real world experience, not just theory.
Lessons are designed to help you improve consistently while enjoying the process and staying motivated. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, with shorter lessons available if needed.
