About Serafim
Hello! I am a professional musician, producer, and multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of industry and teaching experience. I hold a 5-year Specialist Degree in Music and Pedagogy, combining a rigorous academic foundation with a lifetime of practical experience in bands, orchestras, and studio production.
My core belief is that music is far more than just a set of rules or a combination of notes. It is a powerful form of communication with people and the world. In my classes, we focus on unlocking your musicality, learning to hear the music in everything, and finding genuine joy in the process itself. I guide my students to embrace the freedom of self-expression, making the learning journey inspiring and free of performance anxiety.
Whether we are unlocking the secrets of the guitar, bass, or ukulele, or diving deeper into music theory, songwriting, and arrangement, the lessons will be tailored to your taste. Music is everywhere, and my job is to help you find your unique voice within it. Let’s start this journey together!

My approach is entirely student-centric and adaptive. I tailor every program to the student's current skill level, goals, and musical tastes. I practice active listening to understand what truly motivates a student, and extract technical exercises directly from the pieces and genres they love.
Teaching Methods & Techniques
Tailored Technique: Practical exercises are chosen based on the student's level and stylistic preferences.
Core to Advanced Theory: I teach essential music theory, basic sight-reading, harmony, and structural analysis. For advanced students, we dive deeper into forms, music history, styles, and polyphony.
Creative Freedom: If a student shows interest, I integrate arrangement, songwriting, and music composition into their curriculum.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A standard session is dynamic and covers multiple angles of musicianship:
Review: Feedback on homework and troubleshooting challenges.
Technical Focus: Introducing and practicing a new technical topic or exercise.
Theory & Listening: Analyzing relevant theoretical concepts and listening to musical examples together.
Interactive Play: As the student progresses, we introduce live jams with me to develop ensemble playing and real-time improvisation.
