About Damien
I am a professional Actor Musician specialising in Musical Theatre. I have had several students through my professional career who have gone on to achieve various grades in Musical Theory and one in particular who wished to take her Grade 2 Piano before she was 25. I have played as a member of a band, written my own music, co produced music and have been a singer in a variety of performances ranging from parties to the Royal Albert Hall

I am a professional performer and have been working as such for 10 years and have been teaching on and off for the same time. I play a variety of instruments, my main one being Singing followed closely by the Drum Kit but I also play the Piano and Guitar. I have a Grade 5 ABRSM Musical Theory qualification but can and have taught to a higher level. I like to teach for your specific needs, so if you are a song writer lessons will focus on knowledge you'll need for that or if you are a Singer and want to learn how to read vocal lines for session work then we will mainly focus on that. If you are looking for a broader education in musical theory then we can start from the basics and move forward.
As a singing teacher my techniques are varied depending on style because of my musical theatre background . They range from Classical Bel Canto singing through to the more contemporary Speech Level Singing so there are lots of options depending on what sort of songs you would like to sing or what type of technique you feel you need to improve on
