About Dan

Hi! I am a Music Production professional of 30+ years experience. I also have ten years of class based teaching experience, but I enjoy most the one on one experience of learning. Everybody has a specific area they are the most interested in as well as most challenged by. I am a clear communicator and empathic. In my professional work I find myself taking the role of educator more and more as so many of the artists I work with have DIY set ups at home, and via remote working they learn from me as well as getting great results. About the lesson

Music Tech is a vast subject with many possible areas of study. In my classes I identify the areas that need attention. I help students understand and conceptualise the methods and tasks at hand. I use screen sharing to demonstrate different techniques and concepts and provide template sessions and screen videos that contain examples of the subject studied that day, which serve as invaluable research notes for the students who can go back to them whenever they need to. Also methods for improving grades at exams are covered. Students are guaranteed to improve their understanding of music technology and production.
