Teaching methodology: I view grasp of the fundamental concepts as the most important takeaway from tutoring. I use the first session (which is free) as an opportunity to gauge each student's understanding of the fundamentals. This gives me an opportunity to identify where the gaps in knowledge are so that I may prepare follow-on sessions accordingly.
Lesson Lengths: 1 to 1.5 hours.
Qualifications as a tutor:
1. 6 Years of professional mechanical engineering practice (on-going)
2. Summa Cum Laude honors in engineering at graduation from University
3. Engineering tutoring while attending university (3 years)
Lessons Target Audience: University students and older secondary students.
