About Lucas
Hey! I’m Lucas, a Mandarin teacher with a Master’s in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.
I've obtained two official teaching licenses from the Chinese Ministry of Education for teaching native and overseas students respectively.
Language learning and teaching genuinely excite me — I’m always looking for ways to make learning smoother and more efficient.
I speak French, Portuguese, a little Spanish, German, Swedish and currently learning Turkish and Arabic. It helps me understand my students better.
I’m also into drawing and reading.
I’ve taught both in China and abroad, and I’m currently teaching six classes (around 200 students) at a school in Saudi Arabia. All of this has given me a solid understanding of how students learn and what they actually need to progress.
