About Joel
I’m an award-winning journalist with more than 25 years of professional experience and over a decade of teaching at the university and community college level. I’ve worked in real newsrooms, edited under deadline, and helped students navigate the same challenges they face in class—research, writing clearly, and making sense of complex information.
As a tutor, I’m professional, prepared, and genuinely invested in my students’ success.
