About Talia
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance and have 5 years of experience teaching students at beginner and intermediate levels. My academic training included solo performance preparation, ensemble participation, and music theory study. These experiences strengthened my understanding of technical precision and artistic interpretation. Throughout my teaching career, I have supported students preparing for recitals and personal musical goals.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, organization, and consistent development. I believe students progress best when lessons are structured and encouraging. Many learners appreciate my calm demonstrations and clear explanations. I carefully adjust lesson plans to match each student’s ability and confidence level. Building both skill and self-assurance remains a key priority.
Outside of teaching, I continue refining my performance skills and exploring new repertoire. Continuous improvement allows me to maintain strong instructional standards. Watching students grow into capable musicians brings me great fulfillment. My long-term aim is to inspire dedication and creative expression through guitar music.

My guitar lessons focus on building solid technical foundations while encouraging creative musical growth. We begin with posture alignment and relaxed hand positioning to prevent tension and improve endurance. I guide students through scale exercises, chord progression drills, and rhythm practice to strengthen coordination and timing. Early sessions emphasize clean tone production and smooth transitions between chords. Each lesson starts with organized warm-up routines that prepare both hands for focused practice. I explain how proper technique directly improves sound quality and musical confidence.
As students improve, we explore advanced strumming patterns, melodic phrasing, and dynamic control. Song analysis helps learners understand harmony and musical structure. Improvisation exercises gradually build creativity and independent thinking. Performance preparation includes complete piece run-throughs to improve focus and stage readiness. Clear home practice plans are provided to maintain steady progress outside of lessons.
My goal is to guide students toward becoming confident and expressive guitarists. I provide supportive feedback that encourages steady improvement. Over time, learners strengthen rhythm accuracy, refine tone clarity, and gain performance confidence. I aim to create balanced lessons that combine discipline with enjoyment.
